Who We Are In Christ!
Hello To All Our Freinds,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and prosper.
Deb and I are well and are excited about what the Lord has done and doing the last 20 years and excited in what we will be doing next and where we'll be doing it. The last 5 years our eyes were opened to the revelation knowledge of who we are in Christ and who He is in us. We have always had a theological view of who we are but not a revelation, all knowing of who we are in Christ and that understanding, moves mountains. We understand what freedom is all about in Him and what He did on the cross (EVERYTHING) and to understand what that really means to us and what everything really means makes everyday a day of purpose and victory.
I thank God for Bob Prettyman and his ministry, Word of Truth & Light Ministries, please check out his website at www.graceandtruthinjesus.com and Grace Bible Training Center at www.gracebibletrainingcenter.com and we are presently ordained under In Christ Ministerial Association at www.inchristministerialassoc.com !
(2 Cor;5:17) )says; We were made a 'NEW" creation! Our old nature is no longer alive, it died with Christ on the cross, buried with Him for three days and rose with Him and now we sit with Him in heavenly places. We no longer live but He lives in us. We can honestly say we don't even excist anymore.

Colossians 2:9&10 says that Jesus, is the fullness of the Godhead, (the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit) and we are complete in Him,( He sees the new creation) there is no works to be complete, no having to be a leader to be complete, no bible school needed to be complete, no having to join this church or that church to be complete, no you have to live this way or that way to be complete, we just need to catch up (our flesh, minds) to what he already did, it might take us a lifetime but it doesn't have to. That's not what the Gospel of Jesus Christ says or is. This is why He went to the cross, to make us complete, once and for all. Its all about what He did on the cross not what I need to do or what someone says I need to do to get there, its all ready been done for me. If you can understand the true gospel message and know what he really did for you you'll stop focusing on your stuff and focus on Him and you won't want to sin even though He became sin. And when you have that understanding you will also know that He (Jesus Christ in you) has the authority over all principality and powers and so don't you.
The bible says that; For He (God) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2Cor.5:21) The word might in this verse means "no human effort", so if you understand it with that revelation, you didn't do anything with sin he did! He became it for you and me! You didn't do anything with righteousness, He did! He is righteousness and He lives in you! Again, I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me (you) and the life which I now live in the flesh (still man outside) I live by faith (knowing what He has made me in my spirit, complete) in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Gal 2:20)
What happened in the fall of man (garden) has been restored completely by what Jesus did on the cross. Can you think of what Adam & Eve had in the garden before they fell? That's what we can have and more because He did it all before time even came and completed it after time even started! We need to take God out of our religious box and see He is in the beginning and already at the end. The Alpha and Omega! The first and last!
He never changes, He's the same yesterday, today and forever more.(Heb.13:8) Do we have storms in our lives, I think the answer is YES, but we can always have victory because He's already at the end of it! Can you believe? He's (Jesus) the author and the finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God, (Heb.12:2) where you and I are.
God bless and lots of Jesus love.

Are you living for Christ?
When you look at that question make sure you are understanding what it really is asking. Are you living for Christ? It's not about what I need to do to live for Christ because He laid it all out by what He did on the cross. Galatians 2:20 says this; I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
What do you see? What is the first thing you see in this scripture? Who does I represent? What I see is that I have been crucified with Christ. There is no, I have to do this or that or I have to be this way and act this way but it says that I (you) have been crucified with Christ. Even though He went through all the pain, beatings and being nailed to the cross, (He paid a debt He didn't owe, I owed a debt I couldn't pay) He said I have been (included in with) crucified with Him. Christ became sin (2Nd Cor 5:21)and took everything to the grave. It goes on to say that I (you) know longer live but Christ lives in me. Col. 2:9&10 says that He is the fullness of the Godhead. He is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and He (Christ) lives in me. If Christ lives in me and He is the fullness of the Godhead what does that make me? Because He is in me I am the fullness of the Godhead and if He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore, why would He change, just because He is in me? I don't change Christ He changes me. Colossians 2:9&10 continues to say that I am complete in Him. It was finished at the cross. I don't have to do anything more in my life because He finished it. All Jesus would say when He ministered was do you believe. What does the Word say who Jesus was? If you know the Word it says that He is all that you need. Again He makes you complete.
Gal. 2:20 continues to say that and remind us that the life we live in the flesh now is, who we are, what we do, what the scriptures say we are and what we know is finished. We won because He finished what was needed to be finished at the cross. We live in faith what the word says who we are, remembering we no longer live but He lives in us. He is who we are and we are who He is. Hebrews 11:1 says; Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
So as we ask that question again; Are you living for Christ or are you living in the flesh? Are you believing He is all you need ( Phil 4:13) or worried He won't provide? Are you thinking the things you do wrong will keep you from Him or do you believe that He sympathizes (Heb. 4:15) with your weaknesses and if you come boldly to the Throne Of Grace you will obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need? Are you working hard to become righteous or are you believing that because He is righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21) and is in you, you already are? Do you feel that you don't deserve anything or do you believe that because of Christ, (Gal. 3:29) you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. Are you being controlled in a church, some leader or are you being able to worship Him the way (2 Cor. 3:17) He wants you too.
To live for Christ is suppose to be easy but we make it hard. If we can understand and ask the Lord for revelation on who we are it will be easy. Everything has been done and is in us. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and I. Praise The Lord! We are righteous. We are Strong. We are rich. We are healthy. We are who He said we should be because of Him.
Deborah and I pray that God would bless and pour out His revelation so you would know who you are and know that He is already at the end of whatever situation you are going through. You have won because He sits at the throne of grace interceding for you and He has sent you the Holy Spirit for strength and power. You have the authority over all principalities and power because you no longer live in the flesh but Christ lives in you. You need to walk with your heads up high for you are a child of the living God.
Blessings & Love,

Who do you say that I am?
Who do you say that I am? You hear that in the scriptures about Jesus asking Peter who does he think Jesus is. but I'm asking you the question, "Who do you think you are? Do you really know? When you say "I am a born again Christian and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Do you really mean what you say? Do you handle storms in your life the way you speak? You can because you are who He says you are. A child of the most High God.
Scripture says in John 1, a familiar book, that in "The beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God". 'He was in the beginning with God". What do we see? We see that in the beginning was the Word. and nothing else! There was only Them. There was no separation, no, I am greater then you kinda talk, its I'm You and Your Me. The only one that was with God in the beginning was the Word & Spirit. NOTHING ELSE!!!
The Word continues with; All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. Again, What do you see? There is no question in my mind that all things came into being by Him. What is all things? Is it you, or me, or the trees, the mountains, the clouds, the baby that's not born yet, everything you can think of came into being because of Him. Its funny how the Lord keeps on repeating the same message. He knows how we think all the time, everything that came into being came by Him. That's it!! Don't try to put well or but in it. There is nothing else you can add to that scripture. But lets go ahead of this message and be remembering and thinking that He's the same yesterday, today and forever more.
In Him was the life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it. Again, ask yourself this question before you read on and see what I see. What do I see? In Him there is life. Even if I live to be 150 years old without Him there is no life. I may be succesful in everything that I do, have all the money I would ever need and be at the top of the world and not have Him, I am dead. What else do you see? I see that because of Him we have the light, which is Jesus. There is no work to be done, nothing you have to earn, if we have in our hearts Jesus Christ, we have life and we have the light. Again, don't look for someway we have to work at this, it is freely given. What else to you see? I see that this life flows from us as we go into the darkness. What is the darkness? It could be anything, any circumstance, any storm and any mountain or anything that would want to kill, steal and destroy. Guess what? The light shines in the darkness. He'll never leave you or forsake you. He'll give you the way out. And to see that darkness does not comprehend it, shows you how important the Lord thinks of you. Just as Peter said you are the Christ and the Lord responded that only by the Father revealing it to him, he knew who He was. So that you did not see Him because the darkness did not comprehend Him ,but by the Father revealing His love (Jesus Christ) to us we have the light. PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU LORD!
As John The Baptist began to witness for the Light in the next few verses (6-10) telling who He was and what they could have with Him coming to a great verse. Verse 12 says; But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name; (13) who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor the will of man, but of God. This is who you are, a child of the Most High God. He is our father, our daddy. If He is for us then who can be against us? We are winners because of him. Who can ever kill, steal and destroy us if He is with us, remember He is the light that shines through the darkness. Matthew 7; 7-11, talks about asking , seeking, and knocking and how God will hear you. And that if you are evil and give gifts to your children how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him. That goodness is in you because He is in you. The authority that He has, you have because He is in you. That's who you are. Colossians 2;10a; says you are complete in Him. He sees us complete, not what we think or someone else thinks. Do we have stuff? Absolutely! but He still sees us complete. Because of Jesus Christ in us and because who we are.
Heaven is in us because Jesus is the fullness of the Deity and He is in us. Let me say that again. Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead which is the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. We are the fullness of the Godhead because He is in us. He's the light that never goes out. We can't shut that light off because that's who He is. We can walk away and be stupid for awhile but that light stays on. It never shuts off. He makes it easy to start up again . Hebrews 4; 15 & 16 say; For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. Is there anywhere in that scripture that says we have to step out of ministry, say I'm sorry five hundred times or anything else. I don't think it does. But it does say we have a High Priest (Jesus Christ), who sympathizes with our weakness (does not shoot us), He has been tempted and did not fail (God sees the blood of Jesus who has no sin over us), tells us to draw near with confidence for His love (don't run away because you think He might beat you or something), and receive mercy and grace and forgiveness.
That is who we are? We need to know that everything was done that was done. In the beginning it was done. Don't think in a box but think of who He is. He is the same yesterday, today and forever more. And He is in you. That's who you are. His Word tells us who we are because of Him and what He did at the cross. He Is and We are.
He is the fullness of the Godhead and we are complete in Him and He has authority over all principalities and powers. So guess what, we are the fullness of the Godhead, (because of Him in us) are complete in Him, (because of Him in us) and we have authority over all principalities and powers, (because of Him in us). Col. 2;9&10 Thank you Jesus!!!
